By the end of this specialization, you will have created a comprehensive Teaching Portfolio that includes a Classroom Management Plan, a Classroom Implementation Plan, and an Assessment Strategy. Additionally, each learner will develop a Teaching Philosophy Statement to articulate their beliefs, values, and approach to teaching and learning. As the workforce continues to evolve, employers in Pakistan and globally value candidates who can showcase their skills through portfolios of work. This teaching portfolio will enhance your job applications and support your career advancement by demonstrating your practical skills and commitment as an educator.
If the course capacity is reached before the deadline, the registrations will be closed. Registrations for the next cohort will open within 2 weeks of the registration deadline of the previous cohort.
If you already registered for the cohort but haven’t paid when the registrations have been closed, you can pay at a later date and be moved to the next cohort.
No, you can choose whether to enroll in ‘AI in the Classroom’ or ‘Teaching Practice: Fundamentals of the 5E Model’. You also have the option to enroll in both optional add ons at an even further discounted rate. The add ons are optional and not compulsory, although they would build a stronger portfolio.
The duration of the specialization is around 2 months. Please note that the time required to complete the add-on courses is not included in this.
You are required to complete the courses on Classroom Management, Differentiated Instruction and Assessment Development to be able to avail the specialization certificate.
Effective Teaching Strategies is a specialization designed to equip pre-service and in-service K-8 educators (teachers, school leaders, administrators, teacher trainers, curriculum leads) in Pakistan with the essential tools to create dynamic, engaging, and supportive learning environments.
No, you cannot withdraw from the specialization once you have paid. However, we can move you to a second cohort free of charge for the first change. Any additional requests for a change in cohort would incur additional charges.
