You will become familiar with the interface and features of Microsoft Word’s in the latest version of the software. Starting from beginner-level tasks, you will learn how to use autocorrect & autocomplete to speed up document work, how to use find & replace commands, how to format characters and paragraphs, where to add tabs, indents and spacing and so on. You will eventually also become an expert at more difficult tasks such as creating smart art, tables, templates and adding automation using field codes.
This segment of the course will cover all the features you need to prepare an engaging and entertaining presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint. During our quizzes and in-class activities, we will thoroughly assess your skills, from adding sound and animation to designing and presenting visually appealing slides.
You will learn about the essential as well supplementary features of the Microsoft Outlook interface which equip users to communicate effectively. Starting with the basics of drafting an email and creating appointments, you will eventually discover more complex tools to organize your messages and contacts and maximize your productivity at work.
In the final segment of the course, you will get a detailed understanding of Microsoft Excel and its many tools and functionalities which enable users to calculate, summarize and analyze company data. You will be able to create detailed databases and worksheets as well as apply expressions to sort, calculate and filter through information. Finally, you will learn shortcuts for working in Excel as well discover unique ways to visualize compiled data.
