The Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) at LUMS pioneered the five-year BA.LLB degree, combining the richness of a liberal arts and interdisciplinary education with a solid professional training in law. The five-year BA.LLB program was first offered in 2003. The structure of this program was adopted as the template for legal education to be followed across the country in 2015 by the Pakistan Bar Council.
