Dr. Nasir Raza Awan is a practicing neurosurgeon and a Professor of Neurosurgery at Sharif Medical City, Lahore. He is particularly fascinated by brain implants and brain-machine interfaces, having undergone subspecialty training in Deep Brain Stimulation surgery at the University of Toronto and the University of Pittsburgh.
